Description

I�m excited to add this milestone cover to my collection. Lee is one of the best artists in the industry and his Batman design is definitely one of my favorites. I love how Lee rendered the characters (Catwoman, Joker, Two-Face, and the Penguin) into the folds of Batman�s cape. This cover concept is next level and was executed flawlessly. Definitely worthy of gracing the cover of Detective Comics 1000th issue.

wow. Wow. WOW. I didn't even notice the characters in his cape until I read your comment and I feel in love with this cover even more.

And I love how this reminds me of Keaton's Batman at the beginning of the '89 Burton film when he lifts his cape simiarly to two criminals.

This is such a great image, and the details by Lee are exquisite. Combine this with the fact that physical art by Lee is getting rarer, and this amounts to an amazing pickup! Congrats!
