DescriptionPeter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man 67.page 24 (June, 1982)Marvelous page that perfectly illustrates the comic style that we lived during the eighties. Edward Hanningan, with good Al Milgrom inks, offers us Boomerang's first clash in the arachnid series (previously only the faces had been seen in Marvel Team-Up). This comic has historical importance as it started a relationship of enmity that continued for years and still resonates today with comics such as Superior Foes of Spider-Man (starring Boomerang) or Amazing Spider-Man vol.5 (in which Boomerang is roommate and colleague of Peter Parker). As far as art is concerned, we see a good battle, well narrated by Hannigan, with joking moments, like the moment when the camera flies out after Boomerang. Have you noticed that the window is drawn twice? There are small details that betray it. Today they would have repeated it digitally. A good page that reliably illustrates the style of drawing and stories of the 80s with, moreover, one of the most representative characters of the time. Social/Sharing |
