Description

This one arrived in the mail earlier today. It's the cover to the March 20, 1926 issue of Adventure, by artist Raphael Cavaliere. With a name like that, he should have done more pulp covers, but he only appears to have done a handful for Adventure and Brief Stories in the mid-1920's, although his illustration career lasted several decades.

Fantastic painting!!! It reminds me a little of a Goya painting with the man on the ground. I really like this piece. You have a great eye for art Doug!
