DescriptionThis commission was created at the same time as my Mike Dooney Ms. Marvel commission. When I saw the set of preliminary sketches Mike developed for the original commission, I chose Ms. Marvel first. I was so enchanted, however, by the patented Dooney take on Saturn Girl -- a character which, like Ms. Marvel, Mike had never drawn before -- that I asked Mike whether he would accept a second commission to complete this drawing also. He did, and the result was terrific -- pure Dooney, as you can see here. Inker James Taylor followed up with a sweet, sharp finishing touch.
