**Double Spidey Posts, Week 22**

"Into The Grave" Concludes!
It's the Final Showdown between the SCARLET SPIDER and KRAVEN THE HUNTER!

This week I have two more excellent Scarlet Spider covers by the great Ryan Stegman.
I had the opportunity to meet Ryan at the Miami Supercon a few years back, and he is a super friendly guy.
I was happy to be able to tell him what I huge fan I am.

I LOVE this battle cover as I am a huge fan of Kraven the Hunter and cannot WAIT for that villain's appearance in a Spider-Man movie down the line.

Love those mano y mano covers!! For all the talk on Stegman's work, I have yet to hear anyone say that they don't like it. He really has a way of creating fun images with a lot of artistic skill. I'm glad he's inking his own work on these pieces, it really reflects the mood he was going for and his attention to detail. I think the depiction of Kraven and the effect to create grass are amazing examples of Stegman's talents. Congrats!!

Stegman really captured a stark, kind of alien, kind of horror movie landscape for this cemetery battle scene.

BOOM! Paul, you know I love me some Stegman Scarlet Spider covers...and here's another reason! Very dynamic to say the least, and I've always liked Ryan's rendition of Kraven. The battle here is imminent and the image truly accomplishes what a cover is supposed to - make you want to pick up the book off the rack and flip it open! Congrats!

What a crazy dog Stegman is!?! Insanely detailed and, again, plenty of energy spread out from this startling cover. Wild hunter pick!
