Description

Original art drawing of Pinocchio, done circa 1939 for the production of the all-time classic animated motion picture by Walt Disney Productions. It is a great production drawing of Pinnochio, done in pencil and red pencil, and there are animator production notes in red pencil as well, with numbering that likely indicates the scene this would have been prepared for. The full sheet measures approximately 12" by 10", and is standard 5-peghole animation paper (3 round, 2 rectangular). If you hold the paper up to the light, you can see the "Management Bond" watermark in the paper (which is what was used in the production of Pinocchio and another confirmation of authenticity). It is in very good condition, particularly considering the age of the piece (about 75 years old!). This is an outstanding rare vintage piece of Disneyana magic, and a magnificent example to own from the Golden Age of Disney featuring the main character of one of their most famous films.
