Description

This is a specialty piece inscribed to the mysterious Joe Bogats. I've seen several pieces dedicated to Mr. Bogats from the 1930s and 1940s, have no idea he who is. As for this drawing, I was able to locate a Trixie in the strip (Thanks to Jake Turk's informative Gasoline Alley reference page: http://members.cox.net/jeturk/GA%20Timeline.htm) who first appears in 1942 and is a WAAC but I can't verify this is the same character without seeing one of the strips she was in. Trixie here looks more like a schoolgirl to me. Be happy to hear from anyone with more info.
