DescriptionFrancis Kirn Christmas in Tangletown Painting Original Art (c. 1940s). Adorable children's book illustration by Francis Kirn (1904-1972), responsible for illustrating many children's books in the 1940s. Watercolor on illustration board, professionally matted with an opening size of 16.25" x 9.25". Other than a few faint spots in the white background along the upper left, the art is in Excellent condition. Framed with glass for an overall size of 25.5" x 18.5". Includes a photocopied seven-page typed manuscript of the original story by Francis Kern.Social/Sharing |

Great piece, never noticed this before! I love Kirn's art and have a number of originals.

Yes I believe she is . I am a big Christmas fan and she did a great job with this piece .
