A fabulous splash Frederic; this was a favourite story line of Captain America depicted by a golden triumvirate of Kirby, Tuska & Wood. Awesome & Congratulations.

Magnificent splash -- and of course Kirby would start a story by saying everyone enjoys listening to WWII stories! I don't see Wood in this issue, though -- am I missing something?

Wood was the finisher/inker for that story but left Marvel to work on the Thunder Agents after page 4.

Interesting. Though comics.org gets things wrong sometimes, I can definitely see what looks like some Wood in the faces in the first 4 pages now that it's been pointed out to me. Can you see what's under the whiteout in the credits box? It looks like Kirby and Tuska's credits were amended somehow. And it looks like Jack wanted Quicksilver to be saying something different given the partial comment at the bottom.

I own a few pages from TOS 72- as far as I know Wood didn't work on any of it. Do you have some source that says he worked on the splash?
