"Elmore's Lady"
-July 1988

It's about to go down in Chinatown.
Plus.... nunchakus!!!

Pretty dark and twisted story by Jim Starlin as Batman tries to track down the "Dumpster Slasher" who has been killing women and leaving them in dumpsters. Batman finds a homeless man named Elmore bragging that he met his wife in a dumpster so Batman follows him home and discovers the 11th victim. Crazy ol' Elmore found her body, named her "Suzy," and proclaimed her to be his wife. Part 2 of Starlin's "Dumpster Slasher" trilogy, which began in Batman #414 and concludes in Batman #422. Enjoy kiddos!

Nice page, I especially love the camera being placed down at worm's eye view from behind Batman, it's a great shot. The Batman titles were really good reads during this era.
