Description

I can't get enough of Steve Rude's rendition of Space Ghost which is apparent by looking at my gallery! I loved the one-shot comic for Comico that Steve drew back in 1987, that captured that flavor of the Alex Toth design of the original cartoon! Steve has been producing some great commissions for sale on his website from the Hanna Barbera superhero cartoons in particular that appeal to me! When he ran a sale on his website recently there were a few pieces I thought of purchasing but this one won my heart! Space Ghost battling his nemesis the Sandman, so reminiscent of the original cartoon, and beautifully colored as well!

Agreed! Years ago I commissioned Steve to draw a Space Ghost vs Birdman piece that he drew in a similar layout, and colored as well. I let that piece go years ago so this one fills that void.

I share your love for his rendition of the character which I find is equally as good as Toth's.

I'm with ya on this one Rich,Space ghost was my favorite tv super hero back in 1966,congrats !
