This picture is the overview of the sketches from the most wonderful birthday gift that I've ever received. You can see each piece individually by clicking here.

My wife and daughters have been working for the last three years to create a sketchbook for my 60th birthday. Kathy, Allie, Elizabeth, and Rebecca have been going to shows and collecting sketches from artists that I visit during the shows.

It's amazing!

This is truly wonderful!!!!! It's really impressive that many artists drew characters that are closely associated with them. I don't know if your wife specifically requested these or if she just told them to draw characters of their choice, but it is clear that she and your kids knew what they were doing. Best. Gift. Ever.

This is one of the coolest things I have seen. The fact that they took the time to plan this & went to all of the trouble is wonderful. Now I just have to subtly show this to my kids. They have 2 months until my 50th!
