Description

Fantastic splash page from 1971 of Crumb's great Eggs Ackley fighting the Vulture Demoness! Many I've been trying to land this piece for 6 years now. the previous owner finally let go! I really love all of Crumb's work and this is such a great example of his peak work.

6 years is not long. I have been waiting for heading up to two decades for one guy on the site to change his mind. Lets call him Kelvin. Lol. The long wait for art to fall into your clutches. I have a touch of vulture in me. The terrible thing is I am hoping people get big bills, or divorce, or anything to give me a chance. Worth the wait for you as its a great piece. Now you have it, CRUMBy vultures are circling.

One Crumb is enough. If you have one Crumb you can feed yourself that light of artistic nourishment. Take that smooth half splash and those smoking bottom panels to wash down the purient and satirical nutrients.
