Description

Back in 2007 I had the good fortune on taking a dream trip to the SDCC. I really knew little on what I was in for on preview night, but I looked around(skipped the long lines of the mega stars & toy collectors)..found my way to a cool bunch of artists. Again, I knew little of the comic world at that period of time but amongst them was this cool cat named Simone. We began chatting about the Comic World, the cool thing about him was the fact, like me, knew little about what was going on with current heroes. When it was time to move along, without even looking at his work, I asked if he was down to do a commission. He was telling me "Naw, man..this one's on me(this guy was so kindhearted)..but I insisted, being that I knew the feeling of being a starving artist. After giving him a good amount(it was my first buy of many at the convention) he then asked when I needed it? I wrote down my home address with a note that said have fun, take your time dude..just send it to me when you get a chance.
Back then it was kind of like that, people just talking to each other...making chat...having a good time. When I was walking away, he yelled out "Dude, I forgot..What do you want me to do?..like what Character? I laughed..lol. Then I asked him What he never got a chance to do yet. Funny, because at that moment we both looked to our left & saw a book that said "Planet Hulk"~~~ he smiled, then I smiled
