(Fox / Gracie) I've been looking for a long time for just the right Simpsons cel to add to my collection - It's really difficult to find setups complete with their original hand painted backgrounds.

This fantastic setup is just that: a complete setup with the handpainted original background, plus the entire Simpsons family! It comes from the 4th episode of the series "There's No Disgrace Like Home" which first aired January 28th, 1990. I was a kid when the Simpsons premiered, and after the 1st episode I started to videotape the episodes as they aired. I remember rewinding and watching the electroshock scene of this episode over and over again...and here it is!

As an added bonus, this piece has some amazing provenance. It was owned by series co-creator Sam Simon and displayed proudly in his office until his untimely passing in 2015. Very proud to be the second owner of such an historic piece.
