Frank Quitely, master storyteller and artist was commissioned by DC comics to do a cover for villains month. I assume he was given Luthor because he was the artist on the greatest Superman story ever told 'All-Star Superman' What Dc Comics neglected to let him know was that Luthor has a different outfit now, so Quitely had to change Luthor's outfit when coloring the cover. In Quitely discussions, it often comes up that people prefer the inked work...I think all the work is 'inked' these pieces are just inked with a pencil. The penciling is done in blue lines but the final definition is created with pencil, the artist's preferred medium for finishing comic work.

Congrats on another great Quitely cover! So cool to be able to see the blue lines in the scan; I have a hard time getting them to show up.
