DescriptionAlthough I have been collecting vintage illustration art for a while now, it's usually lifestyle art that focuses on figures. So it was an unusual addition to my collection when I came across this vintage painting illustrating the famous Ford Vs. Ferrari feud. For anyone that knows the history, or has seen the recent flick with Matt Damon and Cristian Bale -you would know that the race in that film was the first of several ford won back in the late 60s. This painting is unsigned and undated, but has a label on the back as it was owned once by the US army. That label shows it was there in early 70s - which places this piece as vintage from that era. If anyone here has any guesses on the artist for this piece or if it may have been published and where - please send me a note. Social/Sharing |

Beautiful D. Does this fall under Male or female ratio though?

Very dynamic and raw piece with lots of energy. I hope you find out who the illustrator is and where it might have been used. Cool piece.

As always with unsigned illustration, it's a shame not to know who to give credit to. Really nice painting!
