Description

The concurrent X-Factor creative team did this single fill-in issue in the original Wolverine ongoing series.

Peter David implied horror that is much stronger than typical for this title. Here, Wolverine jumps between (shaft-less) elevator cars to save the last unborn child on the cruise ship. The monster is never named. The elevator passengers don�t survive.

It�s pretty lurid for 1991 mainstream Marvel. Logan gawking at the ring-less hands of pregnant women (earlier in the issue) is a nice touch.

Publication Date: Late August 1991.
