Description

I decided it was time for a new theme sketchbook & it seemed obvious that I should start one featuring my favorite super hero. The choice of artist to start it was obvious as well. I loved Mike Grell's work on Green Lantern/Green Arrow & he has been a friend for over 20 years.

He did a great job of course. This is a double page spread on 2 sheets of 11x17 inch sketchbook paper.

Mike drew this Saturday & Sunday October 22nd-23rd 2016. He texted me Sunday afternoon & said I had better come pick it up because he had several offers for it, but was holding out for $6.

That's amazing! I finnaly got a chance to meet Mike in Baltimore and he could not have been nicer. Signed a GL page with Terry Austin inks for me at let me take a pic with him. it was the highlight of my trip. I came back and re-read all his GL issues.
