Brian Bolland is my favorite comic artist. I initially fell in love with his art when I saw a Titan books compendium of his epic Judge Dread work in ny local comic book shop. So I was thrilled when DC announced that he would be providing the artwork for their Baxter paper, direct sale Maxi-series Camelot 3000. And he did not disappoint. By the last third of that series, he took longer and longer to finish the pages, which at that time had to be shipped to the United States to be inked. But because Brian was so meticulous about his own work, he increasingly put more and more detail into his pencils so that there was less room for interpretation by his inker. In the latter stages of Camelot 3000, his inker was none other than legend, Terry Austin. So, to be able to pick up a page from this epic series, especially one from the latter part of the series inked by Austin, is exciting for me. Thank you to collector JP, who graciously agreed to part with this gem depicting fan favorite Morganna in a classic Bolland reaction shot.

I know collectors prefer Bolland pages that he inked himself, but I consider this to be the next best thing.

Love this page. So many great elements and Austin was really solid in this series.

Stellar combination of artists! Austin elevates everyone's work as he is willing to go line for line with any penciller. This series introduced Bolland to US mainstream audiences with his UK work rarely made available at the time.

Every panel is excellent and the page as a whole makes an engrossing, self-contained scene. Big congrats on this beauty!
