Description

This is the variant cover to issue number 21 of the popular Zombie Tramp series, featuring Janey Belle as an action figure. There are two different versions of this cover in print, but only one original art source. Dan Mendoza, the artist, told me that the other cover was digitally altered to place the bikini top over Janey Belle's breasts, etc.

This cover was created relatively early on in Mendoza's Zombie Tramp oeuvre, so it is 100% pencils and inks. He now mostly works digitally. This is essentially the "risque" variant. But, in print, the (just add water) circle with Janey's head in it at the top left corner is removed.

Very nice parody of the John Tyler Christopher action figure blister card variants by Dan Mendoza! It is more funny that he doesn't try to compete with those in quality, but with just enough effort to make the humor work. Lovely how her only accessory is the bikini top and it's set apart in it's own bubble which they would never do in real life.
