Description

I was very fortunate to meet Cartoonist, TV producer and social commentator Keith Knight recently. I was even more fortunate to be able to buy a page from his autobiographical comic the “K Chronicles,” which later became the basis for a 2 season series on Hulu, “Woke.” The series is about a black cartoonist who is trying to balance mainstream success and accessibility with his social conscience and life’s racial politics. This example is Keith’s humorous commentary on black men being stereotyped and scapegoated as criminals.

He's on the ball here at the start. That kind of mentality starts in elementary school when you have teachers like that. They make it a constant struggle when they tie education with abuse. Do you give in or would it turn you off from learning?
