Description

I don't know where to begin writing as this was a purchase driven by pure emotion. As a fan of the medium, I always marvelled at the imagery that Neal Adams created. I first discovered his work on during his brief tenure on X-men and became a fan immediately. However, there was one person I knew that cherished his work even more than I and that was my dearly departed brother Todd. He devoured his X-men run and would continue to read it on a yearly basis up until he passed away.
When I saw that Neal was a guest at the Motor City Comic Con this past May, I knew I had to have something commissioned in memory of my brother. I decided to go with his favourite character Cyclops in the costume Neal made famous. I think the results speak for itself. My favourite part is the hint of red Neal added for Cyke's optic blasts. I think my brother would have approved.

Sincere congrats - an awesome piece indeed. When I think Neal Adams, Cyclops is one of the characters that immediately comes to mind. Pieces like this are why!
