Description

Saddened to hear about the passing of Butch Guice, who was a top notch comics draftsman and consummate professional. Amongst my favorites from his extensive list of works was the Mark Waid-penned Cross-Gen series Ruse, which provided a playful twist on the Sherlock Holmes archetype.

In this page, we find Simon Archer coming to in an unfamiliar place after a knock to the head, while Emma awakes after a restful night in a much more comfortable setting (or so she thinks).

A favorite of many Guice fans! He's evolved to the more mature over older cartoony style and the Perkins inks pushes that direction too.
