Walt Simonson Darkseid sketch on 11x 17 comic art board from 2015 Terrificon Uncasville, CT.

I was one of the lucky few to have Walt put a # on my thumb for a free quick sketch. Luckily I keep large size paper on me for just such an occasion. My friend alerted me that Walt would be doing a limited # of free sketches when he and Louise got back from lunch so before a line grew we waited. I missed seeing Walt a few years back and this totally made up for it. I had already seen his Darkseid before and knew it was exactly what I wanted. It was quick but man did he fill the page. So much better than a blank comic cover or backer board.

Thanks Anthony. I had remembered seeing one before and thought it would be better than Thor or Beta Ray. My friend did get a huge Thor head sketch.
