Eastman provided Duncan with roughs for the first 12 issues or so and Dan followed them faithfully.
Wow, I thought the prelim had sold a while ago. After waiting years for this piece, I was never told when it was being worked on, or shown the prelim to be given the chance to but it as well. Nice pick up.
Thanks I was trying to buy the Splash page before it but Spencer did not seem to understand what I was asking for.
That is exactly why I bought the page. I was having a hard time finding a Colossus Juggernaut with his helmet on.
I could not believe these pages popped up on a live stream art sale. I bid on every Batman page offered but only eneded up with 2 out of the 6 or so pages offered.

His Typhoid Mary looks different. She has straight hair. I even thought Rogue but no white in the hair all shadding.
I brought the page to Klaus to sign it today and Tim Sale is next to him and asks Klaus if he hand drew the rain. He studies it closely and tells Tim about one out of every three lines was done free hand. lol Love how engaged and interested artists and writers get when you show them original art.
I saw so many greay pages getting snatched up and posted here I had to get a few more before they were gone. I started only wanting one more origin story page but settled on three more because I wanted more to this great story.
You nailed it. I almost bought the Dynamite Solar #1 cover for the same reason.
You are right, just enough was added to make it look like a full body when it's just a hammer. I added a pic I took myself that shows the pencils and colors better.
Thanks. I tried to get three pages that told enough of the story and had as many different X-Men charactors as possible. I read the series when it published and really liked it. I have always wanted some Ramos art.
Great cover! I bought the prelim from Bob a few years ago.
I just saw this piece at the Henry Ford Marvel exibit in Michigan. I was in awe. Thank you Albert for lending out this and many other pieces for the public to enjoy.
Very true, it all came at us fast. Trying to get a memerable page from the book felt the same way. Several parties were interested. It came down to who paid first and I did a lot of it from the road. Superman's face when he see's how scared everyone is of Lois was great. Would of loved to see it as mini but the fact that it was a one shot appealed to me art wise.
Thanks guys. Deffinately happy about the way it came out.
Every page from Greg looks like this. I can't wait to get some more.
That, Rogue absorbing everyones powers and Cable and Hope coming back make this an excellent issue.
Time-travel / Sit in the groud for 1600 years. Instant for us but just long enouh for the suit to grow a seed.
THX! My first time seeing Rick. Very surprised a page with Doomsday beating on Booster from 2011 was still available.
Thanks, I was glad he still had some great pages on him. He will be around a few more times before the year is up.
It was $40 bucks, twist my arm. lol I am just glad I was the first Valiant fan to look at it that day because I knew four other people at that show that would have picked it up as well.
Thanks. I have been looking for a LaRosa Savage page for a while now. It is the first one I have seen go up for sale since they were initially offered. Most of these pages I would believe are in perminent collections.
I know, there used to be a lot more Breyfogle Bloodshot pages to choose from. I was placing an order already and was looking for a nice little add on.
Thanks. Kieth only had a couple pages on him at the time. This one is done sideways on an 11 x 17 so it was printed close to as is in terms of size. He put a lot of detial in the space.
Totally! Everything at her table (pre done drawings) was gone by Sat sfternoon. I'm glad I saw her when I did.
Thanks, his portfolio of pre-done full body 11 x 17's was a joy to look threw.
I watched Peter draw this after lunch. He ended up drawing it on the back cover to Steve Lavigne's sketch book. lol Great collection!
Mike was drawing Darkhawk and Batman all three days of BCC.
Yes the experience and the art are well worth the price. I tower over Steranko but he still has quite a grip.
Thanks guys. I thought I was crazy buying a Cap page from Lim Instead of a Silver Surfer page but everyone loves his Cap too. He only had a small portfolio with him and this page stood out to me.
I have extremely fond memories of Dan and Brett's DC house style art. It defined my childhood and fostered my love of art and comics.
Thanks Gal. I ended up getting 3 Breyfogle pages last week. The best one has yet to arrive.
Issue 10 was still on the shelf & all the pages were tucked into the back sleeve of Seans portfolio. It wasn't even listed on line. I got a really good cash price from Sean. Going to see him again at least twice this season.
Still working on finding out. Could be comming up as a cover for the new Harbinger Renegades book or it was too close to some Game Of Thrones images so it got scraped.
Thanks Gal. I wanted to buy this page a couple of years ago from Joe but wasn't working at the time and had already spent my budget for the day. I was really surprised he still had the page on him as it is one of his last pages from this time and because it had the Cyborg Superman on it.
Thanks. I completely trusted Graham, gave him very little direction, ran all around the convention floor, checking in on the progress from afar. Asking for the Batman cowl along with Bane really worked out. Love that Graham uses a good size 11x15 paper for his sketches.
Thanks Gal, mine too. This page even has a nice note signed by Dick in pencil. I added a close up pic.
Thanks Dan. It was advertised as being from issue 25 but it didn't matter. The Ginger seen is awesome. Love any full body shots they give. The size comparison next to the plane is great.
Very nice! Perfect choice for a recreation.
Thanks man, I will. I just had Bob sign this page. I'd love to see Manley some day.
