DescriptionNeither this, nor anything else in this gallery is for sale or trade. Please do not email me about this or anything else that is not listed. Thank YouWhere it all started for me. While I had read and colored/drew on comics, I had never read any in an informative way until late 1985 when a couple kids at school told me about this character that had blades that could cut through anything... when I went to buy a comic for the 1st time myself, I chose this book. I could only buy 1 book, and was going on a 4 day road trip so I went with the double-sized issue, not realizing that it was the Last Issue until some time later. Needless to say, that inspired me to go back and read everything that came before. Needless to say, if there is such as thing as a 'Comic Art Grail', this would be it for me. I spent nearly 2 decades looking for it, never once mentioning it to anyone. Since that information would most certainly have been used against me. Thankfully, it showed up in a Heritage Auction and I bought it for a minuscule fraction of what it's worth to me. This book along with a few other milestones from 1986 cemented my life long love of comics and art. Social/Sharing |

"Grail" gets overused in this hobby, but it sounds like the term rings true with this one.

Great cover, glad you finally nabbed it but, "I spent nearly 2 decades looking for it, never once mentioning it to anyone. Since that information would most certainly have been used against me." Used against you? Either you're a natural paranoid or you were hanging out with some twisted comic geeks.

Great Cover to the last issue in the series. I remember getting this issue as a present when I had chicken pox. Congrats
