�� Jeff Keane is the youngest son of Family Circus cartoonist Bil Keane and assumed doing the strip fully upon the passing of his father. When I met Jeff, I said his father had produced two generations of artists so far. Brother Glen Keane and his daughter Clair are also in the book. Jeff said his father made it easy for him.

�� Photographer Greg Preston ran a Kickstarter for The Artist Within: Book 2 Behind the Lines and I backed it for the Stephen Silver reward level with two Kim Possible drawings. I enjoyed the first book and was happy to support the second one. It turned out to be an exceptional experience. Greg was a guest at the CTNX Animation Expo and planned a signing event in Burbank. The biggest names were movie poster artist Drew Struzan and Disney director John Musker. I arranged to pick up my book and reward at the show. When I went to see Greg on Saturday, he pulled the Stephen Silver art and prints for me. Because one of the drawings was a bit wrinkled, Stephen included a third drawing. Greg was excited over the event and thankful for the support. On Sunday morning, I headed off to the signing and found a number of friends in line. I managed to take two photos of the first table as we waited. Tom Sito is wearing the bowler hat. Jeff Keane is wearing a black shirt and speaking to Tom.
