A Bruce McCorkindale re-creation of Gil Kane and Murphy Anderson's cover art to SHOWCASE #34. Pen, brush and ink on 13" X 20" Bristol board. First appearance of the Silver Age Atom! Bruce did a deliciously conscientious job as always.

A great memorable cover image! Having the atomic symbol on his head right underneath the big logo was genius design by Kane. This might be the first time McCorkindale is shown drawing a cork.
