Description

Watkiss's tutorials on designing folds and inventing anatomy are fantastic, IMO. Especially since his passing I've wanted to pick up some examples of his anatomy studies and I am delighted to have found these 2 pieces. Thanks to Mitch for a smooth transaction!

These were recently published in Illustrators Quarterly Magazine no 38, which was entirely devoted to Watkiss.

Talk about making it look easy! Watkiss's mastery of form is so rock solid that he maintains that expressive, gestural approach throughout... really nice, indeed!
