DescriptionSo glad to be able to add a promo ad from KnightsEnd. The martial arts fan in me really enjoyed Bruce going back to his roots and retraining/disciplining himself in preparation to regain the mantle of the bat.Social/Sharing |

How is it that I'm the first one to comment on this one?? It's really a masterpiece, and such a wonderful slice of Batman history. Fantastic add, Riz!!

The shadow of the Bat looms large! Batman's long road back will test him and he will face his greatest fear that Batman is no longer Bruce Wayne's to control. This ad lays out out all the issues and signalled the end to the mega crossovers if only for a while.

Wow! I've never seen this house ad before (or have I?). A very important part of the Knightfall Trilogy that receives very little fanfare. Nice pickup!

Fantastic Promotional ad for Batman: KnightsEnd by Mike Manley. Love this martial arts scene with the shadow of the Dark Knight looming over the two combatants, Lady Shiva and a cloaked sparring partner (Bruce Wayne?). I remember this saga fondly with lots of martial arts action as Bruce prepared to fight Jean-Paul Valley for the right to wear the Batman costume again. It was a very compelling story and this advertising illustrsation makes me want to read it again. Beautifully art by Manley. Fabulous pick-up, congrats.
