11x17" ink and screentone on bristol board
A few years back, I got a Luke Cage head sketch from Jim on a jampiece. He broke out the zipatone on it, and I thought it was cool as hell. When I commissioned him for this one, I asked that he use screentones again. He also hand lettered a tight X-Force logo. Now, X-Force isn't really my thing, but when he told me that's what he wanted to do, I knew it was the right call. I believe I get the best results when the artist is drawing what they like to draw.

Saw this on Jim's page-love it!!! Great pickup. He's one of the best around and can draw anything and make it cool. I can't pick a favorite character here-they're all perfect!

I'm not a big X-Force fan either, but I love this piece!
