Auction #228 will open for bidding on October 15, 2019. 10.5x16" artboard has Ross Andru's pen and ink original art for page 2 of "Giant-Size Spider-Man" #3, published by Marvel Jan. 1975. Art was inked by Mike Esposito and features eight panels, showing Spidey seeing flashing Morse Code call for help from Desinna, w/the webslinger then swinging to her aid. Spider-Man appears in every panel; full body images in half of those. Top margin has inked title and inked issue/page numbers. Bottom margin has "Fantastic Four" advertising paste-over strip taped in place. Back has Marvel copyright stamp, aged piece of masking tape and 1.75" strip of tape staining (which does not affect front's display). Artboard has pin holes along margins and some scattered lt. staining at top and along left margin. VF overall.
