DescriptionNever posted a proper description to this piece, so July 2023 seems like a good time to remedy that.This example was part of my first OA purchase. Originally reached out to Sean's rep, Jason, at the time, about the cover to Tokyo Ghost. I wanted to dip my toe in the OA pool and after actively searching for a long time , I finally found art that spoke to me. I'd fallen in love with WIP images, Sean posted on Twitter, to the TG #4 cover. Since Jason lived "around the corner" from my work, I scheduled to drop by and look at the cover. While there I got to flip through the portfolio and that was that. Went in looking to buy a cover and walked out having committed to the cover, this DPS and the splash page that follows this perfect gem. The piece speaks for itself. Sean's ability to create depth is unparalleled. These Tokyo Ghost pieces are all framed (museum quality, archival materials) and I often get lost in this piece. So beautiful and so many details, you'll never get tired of exploring this piece. Long overdue thank you to Jason and Sean for starting me on my OA journey. The Isles of Los Angeles 2089: Humanity is addicted to technology, a population of unemployed leisure seekers blissfully distracted from toxic contamination, who borrow, steal, and kill to buy their next digital fix. Getting a virtual buzz is the only thing left to live for. It’s the biggest industry, the only industry, the drug everyone needs, and gangsters run it all. And who do these gangsters turn to when they need their rule enforced? Constables Led Dent and Debbie Decay. This is an absolutely incredible example of Sean's work on Tokyo Ghost which I think is also his best work to date. There is so much to love about this quiet page.

Amazing DPS page! Congratulations for owning this! The first panel is beautiful to look at and looks almost like you're there! Sean is in a league of his own!
