Rogue commission (Senescence)

Senescence is an artist I only discovered from chatting with Matt Kennedy at OAX this year, and I was smitten when I saw his art.  He does some absolutely amazing work with colors and facial expressions, plus he has some x-ray effects that are just cool.  I found out he was taking limited commissions (with an assist from Mike at NSN Art), so I requested Gambit and Rogue in their classic 90s outfits.  Instead of one 2-character piece, he ended up doing two separate 1-character commissions, one for each character.  I had the option to buy one, both, or none; and I gladly picked up the Rogue that he did.  Senescence used the 90s outfits as inspiration for his own design, and I liked the spin he put on her outfit, especially the yellow sashes.  I also loved how he colored her hair, almost like it was on fire.  It's really impressive to see in person, and the amazing thing is that the foundation of all of this is colored pencils.  Here's a short video showing some of the coloring process for this piece.
