Description

I love asking classic, legendary artists of the righties and earlier to contribute to my Hulk Friends, Foes, and Family Sketchbook because they tend to choose the characters I love - the characters I most had in mind when I started this project - characters like Jarella. When I gave Joe my list of character options, he knew immediately that he wanted to draw Jarella, proudly declaring to me that he "killed her" as he inked INCREDIBLE HULK #205, where she meets her demise at the hands of the Crypto-Man. He chose to draw her as she first appeared in INCREDIBLE HULK #140 (I've included a reference for the curious). This wouldn't be a Hulk book without her and I'm grateful to Joe for his contribution!

Joe Staton is one of my all time favorite artists, and he did a wonderful job on this piece.
