As a fan of unicorns, that first panel with the ears pointing forward had me take notice.  Atop his mighty steed, Conan looks the part as a leader of men.  Truman may not have given me a unicorn, but he has bestowed a blend of fantasy and believable realism in the priceless images.

Great piece, his beefy Conan - especially the face - reminds me on Val Mayeriks version of the character, both were two of the numerous Barbarian artists that did not just imitate Big John.

I'd have to see the page up close, but he seems to have used a different technique between the two horseback shots and the two closeups.  The linework on the closeups seems softer for some reason.  In any case, a wonderful example of Truman's versatility.  Really nice page.

From the gorgeous wash tones in the background and the beautiful feathering on the horse, to the lovely blades of grass and wonderful brush work on Conan's closeup, there is so much to love here, Rick. What a great buy for you!
