Which piece in your gallery is your favorite and why?
Mike Grell's cover art to The Warlord #48. Always loved this image since I had the comic as a kid. I even did a pencil recreation of it in my youth. I first saw the original posted on Romitaman's site marked with the dreaded "On Hold". I had a nagging pit in my stomach after that but a few years later was able to work out a trade deal. Fortunately it was bought by a fellow Grell- collector friend of mine. I traded my previous grail, the painted wraparound cover to Starslayer #1 for it.
Please tell us a little about yourself.
I'm a fan of comics from the late 70s & 80s. My 3 favorite characters are The Warlord, Starslayer and Swamp Thing.
How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?
I've been collecting comic art since 2000. I randomly found comic book art on eBay and easily caught the collecting bug.
How do you display/store your collection at home?
A few framed pieces hang on the walls but mostly in portfolios.
