I love this Swamp Thing run (best since Alan Moore!) and this is one of my favorite covers from it. Great pickup, nuff said!

You
Doing Swamp Thing you do
Perkins my art in Armageddon pieces
Like you always do
And you
Twenty-twenty two
You never even knew about the heartache
Ram V’s going through
Well, I'm trying and try to go get you girl
But it's just so hard to do
Everytime you do Swamp Thing you do
I, know all the games Kamei
And I'm gonna find a way to let you know that
You'll be mine someday
'Cause Green
Could be happy, Trinity
If you'd only let me be the one to hold you
And keep you here with Trees
'Cause I try and try to go get you girl
But it's just so hard to do
Every line you do Swamp Thing you do

That is some fantastic design and inking. I really like the black and white better than the colored cover.

Okay, I have to admit I have a little bone to pick with Trinity. Right from the start of this series, I was infatuated with the introduction of The Pale Wanderer, who later became The Pale Pilgrim. I just loved his look and I believe he was inspired by Nukeface, from Saga of the Swamp Thing #35. As the series continued, I had a feeling that Ram V was planning on making him a new avatar, but couldn't figure out which one exactly. Avatar of Gears? Avatar of Metal? Avatar of Industry? Either way, I love the character and ended up picking up a few really cool pieces that featured him. Then as the series was approaching its crescendo, Ram V introduced Trinity, who I again really liked and thought was a cool character, especially in how she came to exist. But little did I know that she and the Pilgrim would end up battling each other to become the new avatar, and never would I have imagined that she would defeat the Pilgrim and become the chosen one! So on the one hand, I really like her because she was acool new character creation, but it's bittersweet because she's also responsible for defeating the Pale Pilgrim. Arrrgh! Anyway, you got yourself an absolutely stunner of a cover, Rick, and a great memento from the series which was a love letter to the original Swamp Thing run by Alan Moore. Congrats!

Glad to hear that you picked up some pages from this epic tale yourself, Ruben! What a great series

Thanks, Artless. Yes, with Swamp Thing on them only the two you've seen in my gallery, plus I have 6 others without him. But I also have a 4-page sequence from the Future State Swamp Thing 2-parter which was the story that began Ram V's love letter to the Alan Moore run by having Swamp Thing narrate an anatomy lesson. Very happy with what I have!
