The vertical inking is cool as hell. Provides a motion and direction to the action on the page. Oh yeah, and it just kick's ass top to bottom.

I think Grell was at or near the peak of his artistic powers here. Also, the Romans in this scene remind me of that classic Russ Heath ad.
