Description

I got this commission along with the prelims from Angel at Fanboy Expo Knoxville 2022. I always enjoy hanging out with Angel discussing old comics from our youth. The Doom Patrol came up last time, so I decided to get him to do a commission of them. Angel said that he designed this one as a cover for a story called "The Return of the Brain" which he had thought up when coming up with the commission. Sadly, we'll never see the story unless DC hires him to create a Doom Patrol comic using the original cast of Robotman, Elasti-Girl, Negative Man, and the Chief.

Damn, that's killer! A whole new generation got introduced to Doom Patol through New Teen Titans and Beast Boy when they continued the fight against the Brain and the Brotherhood. They always provided overwhelming odds for the heroes and Medina follows that same path with the commission. An all powerful Brain's powers goes edge to edge with no escape.
