DescriptionGaze into the fist of detail!2024 11" x 17" Thanks Richard! *Richard's description: "I did some cover samples for IDW and my idea was to really push pen and ink and black and white art as far as I could. The sky and also buildings are all small lines and pen marks...all done by hand. It took hours and hours to do. Really a time consuming approach but it definitely gave the textures a different feel than just flat black, or a splatter sky. This was my first full blown Judge Dredd piece. I'd love to do some stories with the character in the future. Looks like it would be really fun! piece is 11X17 and penciled and inked by me. inked over my original pencils. No blueline or greyline used." Social/Sharing |

Goodness!!! I've been telling people, this past year Richard has been on an absolute tear! This is straight up spectacular. The inking is next level, and the background is simply superb. The verdict is in - Killer!

Wow, quite a killer depiction of Deathstroke! Looks like he changed his costume, but he's still awesome!

Inking insanity! This is really next level stuff by Friend. Looks like he went on a weeklong bender with a few cases of Mountain Dew and Red Bull chaser. Love those skyscrapers in the background, especially the ones on the left. Man, this must be a treat to see in person. Congrats bro!

Whoa! Richard went to town on this one. A true labor of love, no doubt. Great pose for JD, and just otherwordly detail top to bottom, including that background! So many lines, so much hatch-y goodness. Congrats, Rick!
