Description

"It's landed on the market gardens! There go my spuds!"

Wow: what a cover! I remember this one clearly from the newsagent; a pretty ballsy image for a kids comic. Their ship struck by lightning, the German Zeppelin crew fall to their doom over England. From the greatest of all war strips: Charley's War by Pat Mills and Joe Colquhoun.

A grail cover for me, and a lot was traded to get it, but I'm pleased. Thanks Steve!
