Description'You'll not take me alive, British pigs!"I came to Ron Turner through the Daleks strips, but those pages are now way beyond my price range...but he was such a consummate stylist that there is always a huge amount to enjoy in whatever he set his pen to. I remember the 'back-up' short story strips in Battle Action very well, since they always had a 'Tales of the Unexpected' vibe, which was ideally suited to Ron's style. I'm also fascinated by the 'script-to-screen' process, again, especially for a stylist like Ron who always knew exactly what he was doing... The credit card on the published page has Brian Burrell as script, but the actual script credits Nigel Eaton, a long time letterer for Battle Action. A script try out for colleague?
