When I saw this come up, I knew it would be gone in seconds. That second panel panel is almost identical to the image Marvel used to promote ROM in all their titles right before #1 hit the stands. It was also used in issue #1 as well.

Inspiring cover level image! The expertise of what Sal Buscema does is shown and in combination with those inks that add the proper finish, ROM looks ready for animation or the big screen.

A Buscema ROM page! What more could you want for Christmas? Who needs Santa when you can get yourself a killer gift like this? That second panel is better than most of the covers. Merry Christmas indeed.

Killer Rom origin scene! Sal was perfect for thsi series and I always loved the issues where Akin & Garvey took over the inking duties better than any other part of the run. Sweet pickup, Rick!

Indeed, it is hard to imagine a better Rom page by Sal, and I really dig the Akin and Garvey inks.

Crisp and awesome! I dig the clever zipatone usage throughout, and what perfect Sal style images. Panels 2 and 4 are simply killer. Powerful page, you definitely got the right one. :) Congrats!
