Beyond excellent! This is a fantastic example (which I guess was why Al had it in his collection). Congrats

Gorgeous 1933 Tarzan Sunday strip from the great Hal Foster. What a classic example from Foster's amazing run on Tarzan. Foster was a master storyteller and he knew how to weave a tale that would capture his reader's interest. He kept the action going from panel to panel seamlessly. First a lion is threatening Tarzan and the Princess, then a giant ape, then Tarzan escapes the ape only to leave the Princess in danger. If it wasn't one thing, it was another. And all of this exciting action was accompanied by some of the greatest comic art ever drawn. Is it any wonder that Golden Age comic book artists looked to Foster's work to see how a master did it?
