DescriptionGHOST WRITERSA super-cool Mighty Marvel novelty piece! This is the original art to the GHOST RIDER LETTERS PAGE HEADER "Ghost Writers" which was used in issues 3-7 of Ghost Rider (1967). The lettered "Ghost Writers" portion of the piece is drawn on the board, which is quite large and measures: 21.75" x 6.75". The image of the Rider (Carter Slade) and his horse (Banshee) was produced on a separate piece of Bristol board, then cut to the image edges and pasted onto the flowing cape/text image. Various artists have been attributed including Larry Lieber (who may have just drawn the "Ghost Writers" lettered portion) and Dick Ayers and Marie Severin, who may have worked on the Ghost Rider & Banshee image.
