DescriptionI've had this cover since the series launch, and it's a prized possession. The incredibly beautiful piece of art was a gift from Joe Q and Jimmy P for helping the launch of Marvel Knights with the Variant Covers DF created. We bought 32,000 copies and placed on TV Shopping and worked with key retailers and mail order houses to ensure the line was a hit to the best of our abilities.This launch was historic in so many ways, including showcasing the incredible talent that Joe and Jimmy had, and how this series paved the way for Joe (Quesada)to become Marvel's first artist as Editor-In-Chief and I believe longest running EIC! He was named Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment in 2010! And Jimmy (Palmiotti) has had an incredible career as he grew from inker to writer! And of course Kevin Smith is one of the best creators who does TV/Film and still loves comics and creates them incredibly! Matt Murdock, whilst dealing with his own personel problems, meets a young woman who knows he's Daredevil, is a virgin and has a baby. She was saved by Daredevil earlier that day from some thugs, and she claims that angels told her his secret identity, the child is Christ reborn and that he must protect the child. She then gives him the baby and disappears. Social/Sharing |

WOW! Speechless...but I'll give it a shot. This series read and looked so great...like nothing before in a lot of ways. And this is absolutely one of the best images from that arc. If there was ever a character Joe Q. was meant to draw it's DD! I'd ask if you were ever to sell, let me know, but I'm sure you'll be hanging on to this puppy, so I won't! Sincere congrats on an amazing piece!

Congrats. Quesada's run on dd should be categorized as one of the all time greats.

Besides the regular cover for #1 this has to be the most iconic DD piece That Joe and Jimmy did. Big time congrats on this one sir!

man. oh man. how i remeber the time when dynamite forces ruled the world and this cover and this cover is a great call back to that time period. it's just beautiful and full. congrats with a side of snoochie boochies
