DescriptionOnce I got Nightcrawler going an act, I knew the rest the X-men would be coming. Kitty and Peter were the next to come in. She was even able to get Peter into the get up that Mesmero made him wear back in the day. Lockheed got into the act a little but he was a little shy. He wanted the spotlight to be on his mama.((THanks to Paul Martin Smith for doing thing commission for me. I first started reading X-men during the Brood storyline he drew with Chris Claremont. Beautiful piece. You must of took the circus out on the road for awhile. Nice to see the show is back in town.

Covid shut down the circus for a little bit. Hard to convince artist of the idea just through Email. I find that showing them the art in person helps so muh more. I have Aaron Lopresti also working on a piece. It will be multiple characters. After Awesome con in August, should have one or two more and definitely after Baltimore

Paul Smith is the man who can draw these with the greatest of ease. Very detailed work showing his enthusiasm for the commission!

I started reading comics with his X-men run. He did choose Peter and Kitty. I asked him for three options but he only sent me two variants of this theme.

I remember when you were thinking about this circus piece. It came out great. Smitty really threw himself into this piece.
