I�ve wanted to pick up a Bret Blevins cover as well as an �80s Cloak and Dagger (C&D) cover for a bit so was excited to see this come up on the recent Comiclink auction - I�m more excited to have won and to be able to kill 2 birds!

Bret exhibits a great sense of movement and atmosphere here like he does in a lot of his work...there�s a real 3-dimensionality feel with the angle of the table and the aliens zooming out towards the reader. I also dig how Bret illustrates women so it�s cool to have him on Dagger here - great profile shot! Lastly, I enjoy the overall quirkiness�just a fun piece.

C&D were 2 of the coolest creations, IMO, to come out of the �80s. Their origin and initial stories were unique and of course they�re just awesome designs. So, it's cool to post this nice cover rendition of them done by one of my fave artists. I just need to pick up a nice �90s Sleepwalker piece and I�ll be set with Bret�I think�maybe�probably not :)

Normally when I think Cloak and Dagger, I think of Rick Leonardi but this is a great cover.

Blevins is such an under-rated, fun artist--who does both creepy and sexy equally well. Doesn't this cover make you wonder what the heck happened in this story??

Super cover by Blevins. Have to agree with your comment that Cloak and Dagger was one of the coolest things to emerge from Marvel in the 80s.

I love this cover! Bret Blevins does such great work, and his portrayal of Dagger here is so sweet and playful. I also love the alien beings flying out of Cloak's cloak (especially the one that looks like Saturn). Cloak looks like he is having some major indigestion, haha! Great job checking off two boxes with one great piece!

Thanks! Yup Cloak definitely lookin' like he could use some Pepto. And as I said and you agree...love Blevins female characters. Fetching! I think I need more OA featuring :) And thanks, all, for the comments the last couple years!
